Sam was a quiet, well-mannered boy, born and raised in Nashville, TN who always dreamed of one day becoming a soldier. His parents weren’t well off by any means, but they had enough to help him fulfill his dream by sending him to military school. Unlike a lot of the other students there, one in particular by the name of Puck, Sam thrived in the well-controlled environment. He liked that he didn’t have to do a lot of thinking for himself because there were a few things about himself that he didn’t want to think about at all. 

After finishing military school, Sam enlisted in the US Marine Corp where he became Captain Samuel J. Evans in the MARSOC. While leading one of many special op missions in Iraq, his group was ambushed and he was severely injured.

After his honorable discharge from the Marines, Sam returned to the States at a complete loss of what he was supposed to do with his life. Luckily for him, he was still in contact with his old military school buddy, Puck, who was looking for a co-owner of his bar.  He hopped on the first plane to Georgia and hasn’t looked back since.
